According to legend, the rays of sun or
moonlight that passed through a
translucent stone brought with them
 the good spirits that would protect the
home. The sunbeams shining
through the Spirit Window are those spirits
(peace, fortune, and good luck)
on a quest for harmony,
as they pass through the window of life.
