            Since the nice weather is here, I don’t get the time to answer as many e-mails. So please refer to the Website for information. I get several e-mails asking for directions, there is a map, just click on “our Location”.
           Also The Circle of Light page has all the information on the date and topic of each month. As much as I love your e-mails, please if you just need information check the site.  TRIBUTE TO ANGEL MARY

            On April 29^th Angel Mary went home, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. I know that many of you don’t know Mary. So I would like to take the time to share with you my memory’s of one of the most unique and gifted healers that it has ever been my pleasure to know.
            It was a few years before I opened the store around 1991 that I met Angel Mary. I was in Walden’s bookstore one day in the New Age section, when a voice asked me if I knew of any good books. I turned and there was the cutest little lady, she made all of her own clothes and they were unique. We began to have a conversation about some of the books and we exchanged names and addresses, we immediately liked each other, you know that instant repoire that happens only on rare occasions. Like some many times when we meet someone special life gets busy and we forget to make a contact again. The powers that be had different plans and one day a few years later Mary walked thru the door of Spirit Matters and this began our friendship in earnest. She came because her father had died and she was looking for a stone that would help her grief. We spent a lovely afternoon chatting and I gave her some Apache tears, telling her the story of how the Native American women would use them for grief. This began our friendship. We both had a love for stones and Angel Mary was a Reiki Master and found many purposes for the stones and crystals in conjunction with her healing. She was never traditional in any of her methods. Take Reiki for instance; after Mary became a Reiki Master she had a vision one day of a large eye, then it became a face. This face belonged to Christ. He told Mary that she was to call her healing “Angel Work”. She never called what she did Reiki, after that day she called it Angel Work. Which is how she got the nickname “Angel Mary”? She worked with the Arch Angel Raphael. To many she seemed very eccentric, but we all knew the truth of her abilities. She astonished me many times. We also marveled at her abilities to long distance heal. All of these abilities came to Mary later in life, she was an accomplished fabric Artist, she could restore anything and did so with skill, and her works were amazing. She could sing Opera. She was brilliant in oh so many ways. Her ability to heal and see into the other realms was astonishing. I remember one time when we were sitting in the store and we were playing with some really high energy crystals and all of a sudden we started to see Orbs of Light “Sometimes you see them in photographs” they were so pleased with us they were dancing all over the store and we could see them. What a magical moment we shared. She had a very special friendship with my mother. Mom being a born again Christian, had a moment of dilemma with some of my beliefs, being so different from the traditional things that she had learned and thank God for Angel Mary who being close to the same age as Mom could explain things so that Mom could enjoy a new way of thinking and seeing things. This was so important to me and I cannot tell you how much it meant to me. In traditional teachings, people like Angel Mary and I are sometimes thought of in not so good a light, mostly because we don’t believe we need anything other than our beings to be connected to all that is. If either of us would have been born in a long ago century we would have probably been burned at the stake. There was a past life connection between Mary, Mom and I. I was shown a past life memory where they were sisters and I took them in and they lived with me. I came about that memory because when those two got together they struck a cord somewhere in my soul. So much was she like family to Mom and I that we even had a few spats. All three of us are highly outspoken women. I remember when I moved my Mom and Dad into an apartment beneath mine and Angel Mary said my Dad would only live six more months, I got so angry.

Truth was my Dad got suddenly ill and died almost six months to the day.  Angel Mary was uncanny in her prophecies. We loved her so much and I know that many of you knew her too. Would you take a moment to wish her God speed on her new journey and remember the ripples she made in this pond of life? She touched so many and healed many. All the wondrous things that I experienced with her, I cherish as experience into the unknown. I know that wherever she may be she is now free to do all that she wanted to. She understood things like bending light, How to unlock the mystery in any crystal, and so many things it may take hundreds of years before the general population understands some of the things she could do with ease. She made me believe in Miracles in so many ways. I also included here a story that was written in my 1997 newsletter about a miracle that happened to us both. I thought you might enjoy the story.  Angels, Magic, Miracles

            As I have grown spiritually with all of you that frequent Spirit Matters, Miracles and wonders never cease to amaze me. As they have happened to me and some of you, I have begun to trust that these Miracles are being directed to help us all on our path to becoming conscious CO-creators with God/dess... I have begun to know that the bible verse from Mathew 7:7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; Seek and you will find; Knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; He who seeks finds; and to him who knock, the door will be opened. Is the corner stone of my belief system?

            It took a long time for me to learn just how true this is. Every time that I experienced this being true, my belief became stronger and stronger. When we seek and find the answers, they are miracles in their own right A few months ago I made an intention for a ceremonial pipe to use at our circle of light to honor Spirit... I asked Bob Montana, a Cherokee Indian who handcrafts the most wonderful pipes, if he could make me one, He said he would but he also had a new job and was very busy, so the pipe got put on the back burner. I once had a pipe for sale in the store a few years ago that Bob had made it was all hand carved out of bone and the end of the pipe was a carved eagle head. It was wonderful, which is why I wanted one of his pipes. That particular pipe was sold almost immediately to a wonder­ful lady most of you know as Angel Mary (So knick named because of the guidance she receives from Angels) I almost forgot about the pipe I asked for until I was gifted with a bag of organic tobacco and I thought how wonderful an offering it would make in a ceremonial pipe. About one week later I had a dream and an Angel came to me in the dream. The Angel told me to ask Angel Mary for the pipe. Now anyone who knows me knows how I don't like to ask anyone for anything. So I proceeded to argue with the Angel, I explained that it would be hard and that Mary loved that pipe and wouldn't want to give it to me. The Angel made me promise to ask her, stating that the pipe wasn't being used. I gave in and reluctantly promised I would ask her. The Angel then told me not to worry she would give it to me. I woke up vividly remembering the dream, except I could not remember what the Angel looked like only that he had a purple aura. The dream was on a Friday night and the next day Saturday there was a circle planed, I hemmed and hawed all morning and then decided I better not turn down a promise to an Angel even if it was only a dream. So I took a few deep breaths and phoned Mary. She was as flabbergasted as I was, I told her about the dream and the Angel. She said she would have to think about it, and I hung up. One hour later Mary called me back. She said that she had talked to my Angel, and then she asked me about a special healing crystal that I had that she could use in her work. I loved that crystal, but alas it was not being used for what it was supposed to be for either. So we made a trade. Something Mary loved but wasn't us­ing for something I loved but wasn't using. Then I told her how the Angel had told me she would give it to me. We got a good laugh. Ask and you shall receive! We both got what we asked for and the whole affair was magical. All of you can have things like this happen to you. Start small ask for small things first, like, today I would like a friend to call me with good news. When what you ask for starts to come and you really start to believe it, it will happen more and more until miracles become a daily reality. Remember physical reality, you can't ask for a million dollars and just expect to get it, the probabilities of that are to far away from reality, and that causes a variance within the boundaries of physical universal law... Remember these miracles come to those who are making good selfless intentions. I am in AWE of this wondrous universe we live in, and continue to seek and I continue to find!
