| Hello Everyone: I know that it has been awhile since I have written a newsletter. Well I have been immersed in projects up to my ears. Recently having found a wellness product that makes me feel as perky as a parakeet on amphetamines, I have been putting the energy to good use. Being very physically orientated lately I haven’t felt much like writing. That is not to say that I haven’t been inspired lately. In fact I have been so inspired by everything lately that I am living everyday in a perpetual awe! Life happens to you only when you are unconditionally accepting it, when you are welcoming it in whatever shape in comes in, in whatever form it takes. That is what I have discovered from my supposed turn of luck a few years ago. You get to that point where you just stop trying to control everything and begin to accept what is coming your way. Instead of worrying about all the things that are going wrong. Try focusing on what you want to go right. This happened to me over a long period of time. Sometimes you get so overwhelmed you can’t worry about things, if you did they would consume all your time. Going thru a rough spell can be self perpetuating as it seemed to in my case the more I worried about all the bills and the collapse of my life, the more crap just seemed to happen. I finally got to the point where not much else could go wrong. I just couldn’t bear to worry about it all anymore and I started to think of things that would pull me out of the stuff. I started to focus on what I wanted instead of what was wrong. Now it’s been a slow process, but I am beginning to get it. Something that always intrigues me is my life seems to be like the book, “The Celestine Prophecy”. I learn the lesson then I find it all written down nice and neat somewhere. This amazes me for I so want to show others what I have learned and I always seem to find something that explains it nice and easy. I recently was given a movie to watch. After watching the movie, it was just like the Celestine prophecy where the guy finds a piece of the manuscript and realizes he just lived the Insight on the manuscript. Little did I know that I was learning one of the biggest well kept secrets in the world thru out time. Now seeing it all nice and neat in a movie was just so cool. I sure wish I had that movie ten years ago. Now this information that has taken me so long to learn is available to everyone. A few of you watched the Movie at the store at the last Circle of light. The name of the movie is “The Secret” We will be doing a movie night at the store where we get together and watch movies. After the Movie will be a discussion about the movie. The next movie night we will be watching will be “Village of Spirits” A documentary about Lily Dale, New York. It is the oldest spiritual community in the world, and home to over 40 mediums and spiritual healers. Spiritualists claim that life continues beyond death and for decades thousands of people have gone there in the hopes of hearing from loved ones from beyond the grave. The movie is an incredible exploration of Spiritualism. One may never look at death in the same way again. Our friend Robin, David and I recently went to Lily Dale. We enjoyed it. The town itself is just a must see. We went to a workshop featuring James Van Pragh. He is without a doubt the best medium I have ever seen. The town is enchanting. The people we met were awesome, everyone was so friendly and open. David grabbed this movie, thinking that you all might really enjoy it. We will be showing it, on September 28. This is on a Thursday evening we would like everyone to be there by 6pm. The movie will start promptly at 6:30pm. Please bring snacks to share. There will be a donation basket out and we ask that everyone at least give $3.00. If you do not bring a snack or drink to share please leave at least $5.00. We would also like any suggestions on movies with Metaphysical meanings. You can send those to MsJudy@thejadefox.com. We will be doing movie night once a month from now on. A note to all you astrologers out there. Uranus is passing thru my 6th house of health, work, and pets. This manifested in the worst way in my life. Most of you know that Uranus is a higher octave of mercury; its energy is sometimes quick and sudden changes. Many of you know of my little Chihuahua “Peaches”. She was 12 years old this year in May. She became suddenly very ill a few weeks ago. Up until recently she has always been a spunky, all about the attitude, little chow hound... She was slowing down, and going blind and many of the natural aging signs. I should explain that six years ago, Peach died on the table while getting spayed. She was revived after 7 minutes. She is the only dog I ever knew who had a near death experience. After this happened a wise vet told me how important good nutrition was for animals, I had been up to that point feeding her moist and meaty dog food, which is a preservative cocktail. Like most Americans I believed the ads about many dog foods and for the first 6 years of her life basically fed her garbage without knowing it. I learned a lot about food after that and as many of you know I became an advocate for teaching people the dangers of many dog foods. I sold holistic brands for years at the store, until enough people were interested and they started carrying the better brands at some of the larger stores in our area. So for the next 6 years Peach lived a healthy happy life. What we never could have imagined is that she had a tumor in her stomach; my feeling is that it is from the BHT and other preservatives in the foods she ate in the earlier half of her life. When she got sick. I thought she had a problem with her teeth. She couldn’t eat and by the time of her vet appointment was not able to hold any food or water. She was ready to go; any of you with an older pet understand this. I knew, even though I still hoped it was just a toothache. The vet told me she probably had the tumor for years. Not wanting her to suffer anymore I had her put to sleep. It was very peaceful. She had a better life than most and was so loved by everyone that knew her. She taught me a lot about a lot of different things. I told her to wait for me on the other side, that I would see her when I get there. The very next day she visited me twice and each time I saw her clearly. She is Ok. For me, it may take awhile as I miss her presence so. This has been a wonderful 12 years. I got Peach a few months before I opened the store. Each time a being comes into my life or leaves it seems to be an initiation of some kind. I wonder what her passing will bring. I already know what wonderful things she brought to my life when she came into it, and every since. She will never be forgotten. On to a brighter note. A few circles ago our topic was bring more joy into our lives. Maryanne talked about how she loved show and tell as child. She suggested that we reenact that fun time when we were young. It sounded like fun. October’s circle of light will be a show and tell. With of course a twist. As it is the full moon before Samhain/Halloween. We ask that your story or object be about the paranormal. Like your best ghost story or something you found that has a paranormal meaning to you. This promises to be one of the most fun Circles this year. So get your thinking cap on and bring your best Show and Tell face and share your secret scary thing or object….. I can tell that some people have some neat things to show you; out of the ordinary…Dates are on the Calendar page. Penny Blask ”The Crystal Wrap” will be coming for her annual visit December 9th from 11am-5pm. She will wire wrap any crystal you bring to be wrapped as well as bringing her own lovely creations that you may purchase. A perfectly unique gift idea, for the person who has everything. We always look so forward to Penny’s visits. Her wire wrapping is the best I have ever seen. Many of you have seen Penny’s work in the store and most of my personal pieces are wrapped by Penny.
